Electronoize Playshop
I found the electronize playshop blog and thought I might share it here. It's a host of links for making DIY devices that are simple, primitive, electronic and fun. Check out he little list of project documents he's shared - they seem pretty straight forward. I'll be tackling some of those filters when I have time.
What I also find really useful is the list of retailers that sell components. A heck of a lot more affordable than buying parts off the shelf or over the counter at smaller stockists.
I found the link from Fluxmonkey's website which I found whilst looking for something else on the Chrondritic Sound forum.

Synth TV
Synth TV has a host of youtube videos with lots of jazz-tinted electronic noise. It's pretty odd stuff and I like it.
I got regular malware warnings when I visited the site, which was a little scary - If you prefer to be safe simply to to VJFranzK's youtube channel and check out the freaks playing.

Media Gush
4 interactive installation at Bjcem 2009 in Skopie (arduino based) from AlluvioneMediatica on Vimeo.
Found here. Happening here.
If only I had the time and money I'd like to visit here. Mostly because I think that this would make me a happy chap.
Although I know I should be in my workshop building something, I feel it's more likely I'll just watch a few videos between shifts as my holiday approaches.

Ecker 140510
Ecker will be at the Menagerie this Friday. Bloom will be missing from the resident DJ team (off to play a set in Manchester) but the record collections of Dublin DJ/producers Colz and Thatboytim will surely help compensate for his absence. As ever I'll be in the corner by the soundman playing with videos and probably pointing a camera at something.
cyberbrothers.tv
Cyberbrothers have a nice site. Featuring videos from onedotzero and many others. I've found lots of inspiring things to see and hear there.
Another nifty AV site I found that VJs might find interesting and useful is Videopong which allows users to upload, download and remix other people's/team's creations and it uses creative commons licences.

Electronic Creche - 090510
Trans have set up another season of Electronic Creches as part of their ongoing 'Sunday in the City' programme. The Crescent Arts Centre, Belfast, is the venue to attend if you want / need a "recovery room" to crash in between 1 - 4 pm.
I'll be playing recordings this weekend - I'm hoping to have several phases; reggae, soul, electronic, soundtrack, and oddities. I might even go as far as taking requests...give me a try...
Here's a little MS paint flyer for your eyes:
