I got a copy of the Flyer for the NYE party at the Black Box. Looking good and bizarre. Bonus kudos to whoever can tell where the source material for this collage image was taken from.
More info on Nicky Keogh's work with Paddy Bloomer can be peeped at here.

The diston gig in the Front Page has now added a special guest - None other than Dublin's Skkatter . Expect thumping all night long. The flyer has been amended too.

NYE 2006 - more action to come.

Just been added to the bill for another NYE party. The guys over at Acroplane/Diston are going to have a bash at The Front Page in Belfast.

I'm really looking forward to getting together with some old faces and meeting some new ones too.
The Acroplane label recently relaunched. The Diston wing has been putting on some ace gigs with high-profile artists and cheese-free electronic music seems to be thriving back in Northern Ireland.
Couple this with the arty-farty-punky-reggae-pukey-party that will be Filthy Madonna at the Black Box that evening and I can sense that a lot of photos will be taken, a lot of drinks shall be drank, and some knees and hips will skank.

Some abuse for the masses...

It was my birthday a few weeks ago. Soph got me a few CDs. She had searched for modern noise from Czech Republic and Slovakia. She got me some gold.

Poo have a 40 minute long live show from the sub-club on their web-site.
I've found that the Abuse album has a bonus collection of MP3's from a live show in Prague.
I've zipped a few here. There are others available on their web-site.

I don't want to have the band loose any income by posting their material here. I want people to hear their tunes, and decide if they want to buy some for themselves. If you have any objections to this material being posted here - contact me and I will remove it.

If there are any readers who want to have a few. Listen, and drop some feedback.

Hodonín - good times

A few weeks ago some friends and I went to Hodonin for a birthday bash - here are a few photos of the fun we had at the 'Uberdisco'.
As you can see, everyone there was quite camp.
A 'raver', mincing for the masses, yesterday...

This was a good thing.Another dj and his enthusiastic fan - ready to 'shake it'..
