Ecker - Menagerie 100109
It's great to get back into the Menagerie, one of my favourite venues in Belfast. It has an unofficial 'come as you are' policy so you can arrive in your paint-splattered dungarees or a Prada suit and no-one will give a hoot.
The Ecker team asked me to do videos for their Saturday night knees up. People danced, pints were drunk, and bass made everything wobble. Thanks to Mr H for letting me borrow his video mixer for the show to keep it all live as my laptop powerpack replacement for the replacement still hasn't arrived!
Simon the soundman took a dive due to fatigue, but not before getting the system sorted - what a pro. I hope he's feeling better now.

Cheers Barry! You had the place looking excellent. There was one guy in particular who was tearing his hair out trying to work out where some of the images were from, but think he got talking to you in the end.
Ha - I think that might have been the Hitchcock fan - there were some samples from Vertigo in there; the animated flower petal scene - quite psychedelic!
