Karl Klomp Dirty Video Mixer

I built Karl Klomp's Dirty Video Mixer from the schematic he put online.
The schematic with tweaked contrast and brightness
+ build as bare bones without enclosure
+ enclosure with lazer etched graphics:

A demonstration test recorded onto phone camera:

Source material was a VHS of video feedback (camera + monitor) through a circuit bent processor and a DVD of animated loops of diagonal lines created in Flash.

Hey

I just soldered up this device from the schematic and your photo.

You have soldered the three RCA connections together (orange wire), however it does not show this as per the schematic. Could you please explain? Is it a grounding thing?

I'm quite new to this so I apologise for the dumb question.

Thanks

Hello mate,

Had a stab at making this but wasnt able to get a video out, i was however, able to glitch the AV3 sign that is in the top left of the screen. Just wondering what may be wrong? Ive attached a photo and specs of the parts I used:

SPDT Toggle Switch On-On, 5 A@ 125 V ac

TE Connectivity Wirewound Potentiometer TW Series with a 6.35 mm Dia. Shaft 1kΩ ±10% 1W ±100ppm/°C, Panel Mount

Gold Straight Female Chassis Mount RCA Socket, Nickel Plate

Any help would be much appreciated!

Dear unknown,
your link (http://imgur.com/XB2YLiX) doesn't have any ground connections yet.
I am making guesses about what I see in the photo, but you have connected the in and out signals okay, but need to solder three extra lugs together to make a common ground for the ins and outs.
